Late last night, U.S. Forces conducted/launched/carried out airstrikes against targets in Target Location. The Pentagon/Department of Defense/Military Command stated/announced/reported that the airstrikes were in response to recent/ongoing/escalating attacks/threats/hostilities by militants/in
